The study aimed to construct the index of inclusive development in India from 1985 to 2019 using Principal Component Analysis. The analysis revealed a slower initial trend in inclusiveness in India, followed by an observed increase. Additionally, the study examined the growth of the marginalized section using the inclusiveness index through regression analysis. A significant relationship was found between these two variables. However, the Engle-Granger Cointegration Test indicated no long-run equilibrium relationship between them. Finally, the Granger Causality Test suggested a unidirectional relationship from LNEXPMS to LNIDI.
